Ms. Barbara Desmond is a Licensed Social Worker, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Seton Hill University and her Master’s Degree with a specialization in child welfare from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work.  Ms. Desmond taught “The Helping Relationship” at Seton Hill University and also served on the Seton Hill Social Work Education Board.  Ms. Desmond is familiar with the various community resources available to clients in Westmoreland County.  Ms. Desmond gained her experience working with children, youth and families while working as a caseworker and an Independent Living Social Worker at the Westmoreland County Children’s Bureau.
