Eamon Galvin

About Me

Mr. Eamon Galvin M.S. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and received his master’s degree in Community Counseling from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh Pa. Mr. Galvin worked as a Functional Family Therapist (FFT) therapist for two years and is now the clinical supervisor of the FFT team.  This short-term, evidence-based therapy model has been proven to strengthen and improve child-parent relationships, resolve behavioral issues, and create healthier connections within the family. Completed Level One Theraplay and Marschak Interaction Method (MIM), allowing the use of Theraplay Informed Practice. He has worked with adults with serious and persistent mental illness in a variety of clinical settings: as well as a program Administrator for a mental health in-patient facility working with juvenile and adult populations.  He specialized in working with adults and juveniles who have had sexual acting out issues in a variety of settings including secure care, residential and within the community.
